Archetypal Pattern Analyst
Additional Training & Memberships In addition to completing certification as an Archetypal Pattern Analyst, I have also completed intensive training related to dream patterning and trauma/recovery as well as the study of unconscious communication through the Assisi Institute, located in Mystic, Connecticut. The training focused on an in-depth understanding of the workings of archetypes and the self-organizing tendencies inherent within the human psyche.
Teaching/Supervision
I currently serve as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University as part of their Masters of Science in Counseling Program. I also supervise interns who are completing requirements for licensed professional counselor certification.
I also lead training seminars in which LPCs in the state of Texas can receive CEUs. The focus of each seminar is related to the study of archetypal patterns.
As an archetypal pattern analyst, I specialize in understanding the archetypal meaning of fairy tales and their application today. For the past several years, I have led fairy tale discussion groups for women who want to know more about the human psyche. I have also translated fairy tales as a conference and webinar presenter for the Assisi Institute and Seeing Red.
I have published and presented at national conferences about the effects of specific life-changing events.
